72 words seems to be about the max of what I can construct these days as far as themeless puzzles. I'm ok with that. I think I need to work on my difficult and clever cluing. I know there is something clever for 3-down I just couldn't quite put it together. I think the NE has the most egregious crossing, with 11-across and 13-down, but it isn't god awful. 56-down may be the ugliest answer but overall I think it's pretty clean.
