No spooky puzzle this week since I posted the Halloween-themed puzzle last week (just wanted to avoid the deluge of Halloween-related puzzles). The puzzle's name stems from the fact that I didn't use Kiss as I couldn't really find anything to make it work. Not many words begin with kis, and I didn't think using Kismet yielded good results. I'm again breaking a crossword convention this week, which is that theme answers should always be the longest answers in the grid. I have two down non-theme answers that are 10 letters and I have two down theme answers that are only 8 letters. Shame on me! I italicized the theme clues just to make them standout a bit.
