Came up with a few variations of this theme so may use something similar again in the future. I think 41-across works best and is pretty perfect. I think 20-across is the least effective but makes enough sense to work, but maybe I'm just saying that since I'm the one who made the puzzle. I also think the fill is pretty solid overall and has a lot of fun phrases. A little glue here and there but nothing too offensive.
Orioles have been dominating the soft portion of their schedule. Things get pretty rough beginning in May but wins against crummy teams in April still go into the left column of the record. Need the offense to step up since the pitching has been carrying them this past week or so.
