I kind of like puzzles where I have the reveal phrase be the title instead. That allows the grid a bit more space to breathe - lessening grid constraints. I like the two long down answers and the 7-letter acrosses. I'm not sure exactly how I feel about the theme as the starts of the theme answers don't change the original meaning completely, or at all, in some cases. Not sure that would really fly at a publication, but it's ok for this site. I've had less free time to construct since we got our puppy last weekend. She is totally adorable and precious but it's a lot of work and a big lifestyle change for us. But we already love her and she's a part of the family.
